Millington Creek & Unnamed Creek Bridges - Riverside, NY This culvert shown below is for Millington Creek at A90.03, about 3 miles north of Riverside. At some time it was a bridge of 12' span with stone abutments. More recently it has been filled in with a 6' diameter metal pipe but the old stones are still there. 2009 Leading down to the tracks just south of this creek is an old road. Since the road ends at the tracks, I assume that it was used to bring forest products to the railroad. One branch of the road leads upstream to an old stone dam then continues back to River Road. 2009 Just north of here at A90.67 is a wonderful old bridge over an unnamed creek with a 20' span between stone abutments. The stone is from c.1890 and probably replaced an earlier wood trestle. The plate girder was replaced in 1943 as part of the upgrade.
