Hadley Paper Company Photos

This business first started in 1878 as the Rockwell Falls Fiber Company then in the late 1800's became the Union Bag & Paper Company.  The railroad put in a spur around 1900 and in 1916, the mill was bought by the Hadley Paper Company.  In 1919 it was sold to the Nu Era Paper Company then in 1924 became the Luzerne Paper Company.
Everything closed in 1929 and most of the old buildings were removed in 1936.  The D&H removed their section of track in 1937 as well as the bridge over the road to Corinth.  The old roadbed is easy to follow today.
