     John Anderson Jr. & Co. - c.1905

This business is labeled the John Anderson Jr. & Co. on a 1916 map and in the 20's and 30's was called the North Creek Supply Co.  They carried building supplies and ran weekly ads in the paper for items such as grain, lime, cement, oil, building materials, fertilizer, coke, coal and provisions.
They were bought out by Finch, Pruyn & Co. in 1937 who sold building materials, fuel and provisions. This store was in operation until 1966. Any more photos of this business would be greatly appreciated.
This is where maps from 1878 and 1891 show the original engine house and turntable to be located.  The engine house burned down in 1915 so it's possible that the building in the center here is it.  The lower photo is from 1906 and is on the west side looking south.
