Small Waddell Building

This small building on the northern part of the Waddell complex is said to have been used as the station when the line was first completed in 1872 until the new station was finished.
The building originally belonged to TC Durant and was probably used in connection with the building of the line. It changed hands several times in the 1890's with businesses related to the garnet industry then was purchased in 1901 by William R. Waddell. He had a stage coach business here as well as a later feed and coal business.
By the 1980's, the building had long been closed up and not in use.  A newspaper article from August 1996 said that the roof had recently collapsed.  The spot where this building was has now been leveled.
