I have owned a number of Holton trumpets and cornets over the years but with minimal space for a collection, they all ended up being sold later. When I saw this Revelation model with extensive engraving up the bell and what turned out to be new plating, I decided to hold on to this one.

The Revelation model trumpet was designed in 1919 and introduced in 1920. The name was to be used for a number of different models up through the early 1960s. This example is the second design Holton used and features a reversed lead pipe.
