I took my chances buying this untested Keefer trumpet with patched slides and ended up with a really nice playing example of the Keefer Williams model. Both the second and third slides had patches covering holes so I replaced them both with spare parts. I also found a perfectly matching water key spout to replace the missing one.

These are copies of the old French Besson trumpet that everyone tries to make and Keefer really did a good job on this one. 0.458" bore horn really plays great and I would reccommend one to anyone looking for a vintage horn to perform with.
