North Creek Engine House

This engine house was built in 1943 as part of the upgrade of facilities due to the extension of the line to Tahawus. An addition was put on in 1950 on the south end for the Car Department storage room.
In 1997, the additions on the south and east sides were removed and a large addition put on for the Gore Mt. water pump; supplying water to the mountain for snow making.
The sand tower was built in 1943 and was used to add sand to the diesel engines for traction.
The main original building measures 23' x 94'-6".
