Riverside Station Photos

The first station at Riverside was built in 1872 with a porch on the south end added shortly after.  This was in use until the new station was built in 1913.  The old station was then moved to the south end of the yard and used for a freight station until its removal in 1956.

The new station was built by the Delaware & Hudson in 1913 and was a very busy place in the summer when all the camps were in action.  The baggage room was added in 1922 and the station stayed in use until 1962.  When the freight building was removed in 1956, the north porch on the station was filled in for freight use.
The building was sold in 1964 into private hands and in 1995 it was restored.  Warren County bought it in 2007 as part of their tourist train business.
